My partner and I are looking into starting a skate shoe company and we came across the 3hex website. I would like to know if you have an info pack you could send us that might answer some frequently asked questions?
We would also like to know the following:
1. How does the sampling of shoes work? Is it possible to get samples of the same design put in a variety a colours and fabric (Suede/Canvas)?
Samples are made after planning the production. Samples are only made in one color.
Are there catalogues of the generic shoe designs from which further customization would be done?
You will have to provide the design. There are no catalogs.
2. What are the minimum unit amounts in order to place an order once the design is finalized? And do these include different colours-ways per design, or is it one colour per shoe?
1000 pairs per style and color
3. What is the relationship between colour variations and cost per order?
none
4. Do certain colours of rubber and suede cost more or less than others?
no (except glow in the dark or something crazy like that)
5. What environmentally concious options are available eg. Vegan suede, recylced rubber etc.?
6. How do the environmentally concious options compare in price and durability to standard materials?
haven't looked into that so far
7. What part of the shoe customization process is most costly?
the outsole, it requires a special mould for each full size.
8. How long does the production take? From start to finished product.

9. What are the time and cost estimates for shipping to South Africa?
shipping takes 6 weeks. I don't know the shipping price to South Africa, I will have to ask a shipping company once you are ready to order
